As summer neared it's end, the marriage of Jason and Meredith found its beginning. The couple, who shared their poignant pledge at The Art Institute of Chicago's modern wing and Terzo Piano, departed the vaunted venue as an officially blended family with their daughter Taitum. The cherished painting and the architecture of the historic museum helped me to create a series of breath taking portraits. The couple met... well kind of thanks to me.... my best friend's co-workers were having a party following the 2011 Pride Parade and I ran into Jason on my way there. This is the second time I have introduced a couple who were later married so, if you are single you might want to take me out for drinks. =P The modern wing is a beautiful space for a wedding or any party for that matter!
